Financial Partners Credit Union Sponsors Seal Beach Turkey Trot for Third Year

May 24, 2021 - Downey, CA - A Running Legacy Inc., organizers of the annual Seal Beach Turkey Trot, announced that Financial Partners Credit Union has joined as title sponsor for the third consecutive year. This year’s event will be held in person and will be back on Main Street in Seal Beach, CA on Saturday, November 20th. The Turkey Trot will feature four events: 10K and 5K races, a Gym Challenge Course, and a 1K Kids Race.
“We’re excited to come back to Seal Beach for a live event and to partner with Financial Partners again this year,” said Jason Bruton, founder of The Seal Beach Turkey Trot. “Our inaugural event in 2019 brought thousands of families in the community out for an inspiring day and we’re thrilled Financial Partners Credit Union is making it possible.”
After last year’s virtual run which saw over 500 participants complete 10K and 5K races on their own, this year’s Seal Beach Turkey Trot brings back the Gym Challenge along with the traditional courses. The Gym Challenge combines a 5K run with six stations along the course route that will progressively challenge participants to perform activities like push-ups, burpees, sit-ups, and squats.
“After the last year during which both physical fitness and financial fitness were impacted for so many, we’re looking forward to bringing this event back for the Seal Beach community,” said Nader Moghaddam, President & CEO of Financial Partners Credit Union. “We have proudly served the Seal Beach Community for more than 40 years and this year we opened a new branch in the Old Town Center to serve the entire community.”
